Asherman's Syndrome View 3

Photograph of the hysteroscopic view of a uterine cavity that demonstrates a small amount of bleeding from transected adhesions with the right and left tubal ostia seen along the right and left edges of the field of view (dark regions). I use estrogen (premarin 2.5 mg a day x 30) and progesterone (provera 10 mg a day for days 21 to 30 on premarin) x 1-2 months following this sort of surgery to resurface the uterine cavity with endometrium. This patient had a long history reproductive failure prior to this surgery. Following the surgery she conceived spontaneously, carried the pregnancy to term, and delivered a healthy baby without incident.
