Hysterosalpingograms View 2

Radiograph of a hysterosalpingogram revealing a (semicircular) rounded filling defect along the fundus of the uterus just to the right side of midline, a dilated left fallopian tube (hydrosalpinx) that extends from the uterus back around behind the uterine cavity where it is seen to be 2-3 cm dilated without free spillage, and a normal diameter right fallopian tube that appears to be spilling locally (but further spill is required for confirmation as this may also represent spill into a right sided hydrosalpinx). The filling defect was confirmed to be a fibroid surgically.
