Photograph of the laparoscopic view of a uterus that contains a uterine septum revealing a central slightly raised (and slightly lighter colored) “band” that extends from the lower uterus anteriorly (on top of the uterus) to the fundus of the uterus (between the fallopian tubes) and down along the uterus posteriorly (along the back of the uterus).
